FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the ZapTrap Club?
The Club itself is a large building with multiple rooms and things to do. For our ZapTrap team players, there’s the Pro Room for our professional players, and there’s the Novice Room for our novice team players. We have our four Trap Rooms for regular, non-tournament related games, of which there are four: Individuals, Duos, Trios, Quads. We also have the ZapTrap Outlets, which feature everything from cafes and restaurants, to shopping for clothes, ice cream, and other stores as well.

How does it work to join the ZapTrap Team League?
We are developing a Novice Team League, which will be made up of all newer players, and eventually coached by seasoned players. We also are developing a Professional Team League, which is made up of only players who are seasoned and their game is at a high level. To join, you can go over here to learn more and sign up.

Does it cost money to join the club?
No, we do have a Free Membership level. But you have limited access within the online club website, you can only access the Individuals Trap Room, none of the other Club Rooms, and you can’t play on teams. The paid membership during pre-release is at $4.95 /month and if you purchase during the pre-release period your membership will remain at that price in perpetuity as long as it is paid, even when the membership price rises. This membership gains you access to all members rooms within the Club, which includes things like the movie/video theatre, rentable apartments if you want your character to live at the club, rentable hotel rooms if you’re just visiting and want to stay, campground with rentable campers and lawn games area, target practice areas, quick challenge rooms, rentable golf carts, a running 10% off of everything in the online store, access to the Round Values Market to place bets on rounds and games, a running 10% off anything purchased at the ZapTrap Outlets, and any future rooms or attractions as they are added.

How are things paid for within the club and membership?
We have an in-game currency called ZapDollas, and then on the Roblox Experience you can also use Robux. On Android, we will also have the same type of paid options for real life currency and in-game ZapDollas currency that the Roblox Experience has. The reason we are going to keep the Android version in development longer is to take what we learn from the release of the Roblox version, good and bad, as well as suggestions from our players and members, and utilize all of that to help us build better foundations for the Android version prior to release. We will have more flexibility with Android to take the game itself further, as well as offer a far more complex and engaging story mode.
